It looks like a 40-year-old, 17 year NFL veteran has finally called it quits. Jeff George was the #1 overall pick in 1990 who then managed to make his way onto 8 different team rosters before his recent retirement. Disclaimer: Vinny Testaverde recently came back to the league and finished the 2007 NFL season at 44-years-old, so we really cannot rule out a Jeff George return just yet. In fact, I remember George trying to make a comeback in 2007 with the Vikings, but those rumors stopped when Minnesota coach, Brad Childress, could not halt laughing about the idea of putting the elder QB on the field.
I wonder if Childress was laughing in the same ferocity as Matthew Vuckovich and me when we received an email recently to Take Our (Clients) Game To The Next Level!!! How exactly would we take their game to the next level? The subject line of the email paves the way to success: Jeff George Elite Quarterbac
The program is probably legit, but I could not figure out why they only put George’s picture in three different uniforms. They might as well gone for the full gamut: 8 different pics of Jeffrey George. Anyway, if you have a QB who needs some training and wants to be personally trained by Jeff George (until he makes a Testaverde-like return), shoot Aaron Reese an email at [email protected].
On a side-note, props to George for reaching out to Mike Wilbon when he recently suffered from a heart attack. We also wish Wilbon the best in his recovery.
One reply on “Jeff George Will Take Your Game To The Next Level!!!”
Although he played for eight different teams, it may have been quite a challenge to find eight different action shots…
