NBA: Atlantic Division Previews

Here we are back for the third straight year as a part of’s NBA Division Previews.  For the past two years, I have covered the Miami Heat preview (2007 preview link, 2008 preview link).  My prediction last year was scary close.  I said the Heat would go 42-40 (which was a bold statement after their record of 15-67 in 2007).  In fact, the Heat got one more win than my projection, and ended the season 43-39. will once again cover the Heat for the 2009 NBA season and will link to all the other Division previews as they are published.  Today: Atlantic Division.

  • I think the Celtics will get another solid year from the KG and Pierce..but with Rasheed too they should have a complete squad again. Seems like Boston is the place to go for veterans who just want to win.

  • zak

AI should have gone to Boston.

  • Yeah but AI is a glory hog..and I don’t think any team can win a championship if AI is a starter chucking up every shot he can. He has had his days but you never know how he would play with KG, Pierce, and Wallace on his side. Interesting if it ever happened.. but unlikely.
