NBA: Atlantic Division Previews

76ers

Here we are back for the third straight year as a part of CelticsBlog.com’s NBA Division Previews.  For the past two years, I have covered the Miami Heat preview (2007 preview link, 2008 preview link).  My prediction last year was scary close.  I said the Heat would go 42-40 (which was a bold statement after their record of 15-67 in 2007).  In fact, the Heat got one more win than my projection, and ended the season 43-39.  SportsAgentBlog.com will once again cover the Heat for the 2009 NBA season and will link to all the other Division previews as they are published.  Today: Atlantic Division.

By Darren Heitner

Darren Heitner created Sports Agent Blog as a New Year's Resolution on December 31, 2005. Originally titled, "I Want To Be A Sports Agent," the website was founded with the intention of causing Heitner to learn more about the profession that he wanted to join, meet reputable individuals in the space and force himself to stay on top of the latest news and trends.

Heitner now runs Heitner Legal, P.L.L.C., which is a law firm with many practice areas, including sports law and contract law. Heitner has represented numerous athletes and sports agents as legal counsel. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Bloomington from 2011-2014, where he created and taught a course titled, Sport Agency Management, which included subjects ranging from NCAA regulations to athlete agent certification and the rules governing the profession. Heitner serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he teaches a Sports Law class that includes case law surrounding athlete agents and the NCAA rules.

I think the Celtics will get another solid year from the KG and Pierce..but with Rasheed too they should have a complete squad again. Seems like Boston is the place to go for veterans who just want to win.

Yeah but AI is a glory hog..and I don’t think any team can win a championship if AI is a starter chucking up every shot he can. He has had his days but you never know how he would play with KG, Pierce, and Wallace on his side. Interesting if it ever happened.. but unlikely.
