Miami-based Jeff Wechsler Signs UNC’s Harrison Barnes

Two days ago, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports broke the news that University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill small forward Harrison Barnes signed with agent Jeff Wechsler.  Wechsler is based in Miami, Florida and is the owner of 24..7 Sports Management, LLC.  Last year, Wechsler signed eventual #1 overall pick Kyrie Irving, who I hear is close friends with Wechsler’s newest client, Harrison Barnes.

DraftExpress.com predicts that Barnes will be the #7 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.  It appears that he will be no less than a lottery pick.

Wechsler’s other NBA clients are the aforementioned Irving along with Quentin Richardson, D.J. White, and Larry Hughes.
