Rob Pelinka Signs Another Big East Basketball Player – Dion Waiters

Last week, I reported that University of Connecticut’s Andre Drummond signed with Rob Pelinka of Landmark Sports Agency.  The agent of players like Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and Carlos Boozer has another potential rookie NBA player signed to his agency.  That player is former Syracuse guard Dion Waiters.

Waiters is leaving Syracuse after spending only two years with the Orange.  Interestingly, Waiters was mostly a sixth man on a strong Syracuse team, but could still be a first round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.  Everyone raves about his defensive skills, and it will be fun to see if they translate well at the next level.
