UCLA Bruins cornerback Aaron Hester has signed with football agent Sam Renaut.
UCLA Bruins cornerback Aaron Hester has signed with football agent Sam Renaut.

NFLPA Contract Advisor Sam Renaut is in his first year being certified after sitting for and passing last year’s NFLPA examination.  He has been very busy recruiting and putting together his first class of football clientele as a part of PlayersRep Sports Management, which also houses agents Andy Simms, Wesley Spencer, Dave Lee, Matt Brei and Ken Sarnoff.

As of right now, Renaut has signed two players, cornerback Aaron Hester of UCLA and offensive lineman Nik Embernate of San Diego State University.  Both players will train at Fischer Sports in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hester was a four-year starter at UCLA.  He will be playing in East-West Shrine Game, where he will have a chance to show off his talent and potentially climb the draft boards.  He is just shy of 6’2 198lbs, and was a track star at Dominguez HS in Compton.

Nik Embernate was named first team all-MWC.  He is about 6’4, 304lbs.  Embernate played all five spots on the line in college but was primarily slotted at left guard.  SDSU’s o-line had some injuries, so Embernate kicked out to tackle a few times to accommodate.

“[I] joined PlayersRep in October and love working with the guys there,” said Renaut.  “Everyone is really supportive – very strong team environment, everyone working toward the same goal.”
