CRM Sports Management wrapped up the 2013 calendar year with a few late player signings.

University of Buffalo wide receiver, Fred Lee, recently signed with the Pennsylvania-based agency.  The Chester, South Carolina native snagged 58 receptions for 692 yards and five touchdowns in 2013.  He was selected to the 2013 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and will be recognized at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

“Fred was an under-the-radar type player to start the (2013) season,” said Casey Muir, Founder/President of CRM.  “As the year went on, he has become one of the most reliable receivers in the MAC, consistently making plays and moving the chains when Buffalo needed it most.  Scouts always note his sure hands, sharp route running, and the physicality with which he plays the wide receiver position.”

Along with Lee, CRM signed record-setting wide receiver, Alex Neutz.  The standout from Grand Island, New York finished this past season with 61 receptions for 1,000-plus yards and 12 touchdowns.  He was named First Team All-MAC and now holds the Buffalo school record for career touchdowns with 31.

Neutz was also nominated for the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Award and was a semi-finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes the nation’s top scholar-athlete.

“With regard to Alex, scouts have told us they love his body control and how he uses his size to his advantage by going up to get the football,” Muir said.  “He also possesses deceptive speed and consistently gets behind the defense to stretch the field.  He has been one of the most consistent playmakers in the country, with back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons.”

CRM represents not only NFL players but coaches and league personnel as well.  Its notable client list includes ESPN analyst and former Detroit Lions General Manger, Matt Millen, along with University of Miami-Florida football head coach, Al Golden, and ESPN analyst, Bill Parcells.
