East coast based agency, Symmetry, just inked another player to a Standard Representation Agreement.  This time, it is Boise State center, Matt Paradis.  The Council, Idaho native recently signed with agents Mook Williams/Brian McLaughlin.

“We are very excited about adding Matt Paradis as a client,” said McLaughlin, an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor.  “Matt had an excellent career at Boise State, in which he was named to the All-Mountain West Conference team in his junior and senior seasons.  Front office personnel and scouts are very high on him, and they believe he can have a long and successful career in the NFL.  Matt came to Boise State as a walk-on, and he’s earned everything he’s ever been given on the field.  He’s not only a great football player, but he’s an outstanding person.”

According to McLaughlin, “Matt is great in both run blocking and pass protection.  He’s strong enough to dominate interior defensive linemen, while athletic enough to pull or get to the second level with ease.  He displays excellent footwork, and has ideal height/weight, wingspan, and hand size for the position.”

A double major in finance and business economics, Paradis played in the Broncos’ last 25 games at center where he was the “undisputed leader of the offensive line,” according to McLaughlin.

“If there is anyone who epitomizes Boise State football, it’s a guy like Matt Paradis,” interim Boise State coach Bob Gregory said to IdahoStatesman.com.  “He’s hard-working, tough, smart — he certainly will leave a legacy here.”

NFLDraftScout.com ranks Paradis as the No. 15 available center in this May’s NFL Draft.  Paradis will be training with Chip Smith of Chip Smith Performance Systems in Atlanta, Georgia.
