CAA Sports Signs Linemen Stephon Tuitt And Taylor Lewan

USATSI_7502363_155451184_lowresWhile much of Jimmy Sexton’s attention has been directed toward landing former USC head coach Lane Kiffin at Alabama, the CAA Sports Certified Contract Advisor has also signed a few players leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft, including Notre Dame defensive end, Stephon Tuitt.

NFLDraftScouts.com’s Dane Brugler projects the Philadelphia Eagles to draft Tuitt with the No. 22 pick in the first round.  A Monroe, Georgia native, Tuitt finished his career with 126 tackles and 21.5 sacks.  The former five-star recruit is now tied for third all-time on Notre Dame’s sacks list.

Along with Tuitt, CAA Sports recently signed University of Michigan offensive tackle, Taylor Lewan, to a Standard Representation Agreement.  NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, Tom Condon, will represent Lewan.

“While not considered to be on the same level as former Wolverine Jake Long, who went No. 1 overall in 2008, Lewan has top 32 potential,” NFLDraftScout.com said of the redshirt senior.

In 2012 and 2013, Lewan was named the Big Ten Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year.  Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com has Lewan heading to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round (No. 15 overall).
