USATSI_7482309_155451184_lowresParadigm Sports Management has both baseball and football divisions along with an extensive mixed martial arts practice as well.  The California-based agency recently added to its football roster, signing Jon Halapio (University of Florida [pictured above]), Will Latu (Abilene Christian University), and Richard Spencer (UTEP) to Standard Representation Agreements.

“We are extremely excited to have Jon, Will, and Richard join the Paradigm Sports Management team as they pursue their dreams of playing in the NFL,” said Audie Attar, Founder of Paradigm and an NFL Certified Contract Advisor.  “We look forward to helping and guiding them over the next few months before the NFL Draft, throughout their NFL careers and far beyond as they transition into their post-athletic careers.

All three athletes signed with Paradigm Sports Management as their exclusive sports agents and will be jointly represented by Attar and Ryan Buescher.  They will also work with ProLogic Management Group for management and marketing endeavors.

NFLDraftScout.com ranks Jon Halapio as the No. 6 offensive guard in the upcoming NFL Draft.  The St. Petersburg, Florida native will be participating in this Saturday’s Reese’s Senior Bowl.

“Jon is the best run-blocking OG in this year’s draft class,” Attar said.  “Throughout his career at Florida he demonstrated a tenacious passion and love for the game of football that is matched by few.  His ability to finish blocks is something that all scouts are very excited about and that will translate well at the next level.”

Will Latu originally played junior college football before committing to the University of Oklahoma.  He then arrived at Abilene Christian in the fall of 2012.

“Will is a very exciting developmental OL prospect who only began playing football his senior year of high school, thus he has a tremendous amount of upside,” Attar said.  “His size, frame, and athleticism are an ideal fit for playing OG in the NFL.  Will has a hunger about him that makes his work ethic something you want to see in such a young player with a ton of potential.”

Richard Spencer, a safety at the University of Texas at El Paso, suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2012.  This past season, the Moreno Valley, California native played in just three games following a violation of team rules.  He still managed 27 tackles, with a season-high of 18 coming against Louisiana Tech in early October.

“Richard is a long, rangy safety who is an outstanding tackler and a natural special teams player,” Attar said.  “He had a knack for finding the ball throughout college, evident from him being the only player to force NCAA rushing touchdown leader Montee Ball to fumble in college.  Richard’s special teams play was exciting to watch, displaying some big plays from punt blocks to big tackles.”

All three players will be training at Proactive Sports Performance in Westlake, California with trainer Ryan Capretta.
