Doug Hendrickson And CJ LaBoy Join Relativity Sports’ Football Division

Relativity just got a nice infusion of cash, but will Relativity Sports see any of it?
Relativity signed football agents CJ LaBoy and Doug Hendrickson, formerly of Octagon Football.

Relativity Sports has increased its status as one of the elite agencies in sports, adding veterans Doug Hendrickson and CJ LaBoy to its football division. Both Hendrickson and LaBoy “are well-respected agents among players, general managers and owners,” said Eugene Parker, Partner and Contract Advisor at Relativity Sports.

They are both leaving Octagon to join Relativity Sports. Hendrickson explained the reason for their move to Relativity Sports. “We see strong value in the Relativity Sports platform for our clients and everything it has to offer them on and off the field. We are looking forward to working closely with Happy Walters, Josh Swartz, Eugene Parker and the Relativity team to continue to grow the football division.” While at Octagon, Hendrickson and LaBoy worked with Cameron Jordan, Marshawn Lynch, Stevie Johnson, LaMarr Woodley, and Justin Tuck to name a few. At Relativity Sports they will oversee all areas of representation for their clients and provide them with the full-range of career development services Relativity Sports offers.

“We are thrilled to have Doug Hendrickson and CJ LaBoy join the Relativity Sports family. They are natural fits for our organization because of their holistic approach to helping their clients and wanting to provide them with a wide range of opportunities on and off of the field,” said CEO of Relativity Sports, Happy Walters. Relativity’s football division includes current players such as Jason Pierre-Paul, Greg Jennings, Larry Fitzgerald, Jairus Byrd, and Devin Hester, as well as Pro Football Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, and Curtis Martin. In 2013, Forbes named Relativity Sports the 3rd most valuable sports agency.
