With the NBA Draft quickly approaching Stealth SME has signed Baylor star Isaiah Austin.  The 7’ 1”, 220-pound Center played for two seasons with the Baylor Bears, 2012-2014, averaging .447 FG% and 11.2 points per game for the 2013-14 season. Austin will be represented by Dwon Cliffton and Tony Dutt of Stealth Sports.

Austin is not like every other player in this year’s draft class. In the 8th grade he suffered a torn retina that caused a loss of vision in his right eye. He said after disclosing his disability that “It gave me a chance to touch a lot of lives…… The only thing that’s going to get in your way is yourself.” Austin led the Big 12 in blocked shots and despite his draft stock dropping last year after Baylor missed the NCAA tournament and played in the NIT, with Baylor’s effective run in this year’s NCAA tournament, Austin is projected by NBC Sports to be an early second round pick.
