In what may be one of biggest non-surprises in sports news in 2014, Detroit Lions defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh, has finally joined Roc Nation. There had been rumblings earlier this year that the former University of Nebraska standout was joining the newer division of Roc Nation. Earlier today, the agency made it official on its Twitter account.
Led by Michael Yormark, President and Chief of Branding at Roc Nation, Roc Nation Sports now represents 10 clients across the NFL, MLB, NBA and WNBA, including Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder), Robinson Cano (Seattle Mariners), Geno Smith (New York Jets) and Skylar Diggins (Tulsa Shock). The agency recently launched a boxing division and has plans of securing hockey clients in the very near future, according to Yormark.
