Santa Clara Law Hosts Fifth Annual Sports Law And Ethics Symposium

santa clara lawSanta Clara University School of Law is hosting the Fifth Annual Sports Law and Ethics Symposium this Thursday (8:30am — 6:00pm) at the Benson Memorial Center.  Symposium panels will include the Brave New World of College Athletics, Bullying and a Culture of Performance, Match-Fixing — the New Danger to U.S. Sports and other trending topics in the world of sports law and sports business.

The Keynote Speaker will be Paraag Marathe, President of the San Francisco 49ers while the Lunchtime Speaker will be Travis Tygart, CEO of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).  An afternoon discussion — titled ‘A Big Picture View of Ethics in Sport’ — will be led by Jack Bowen (Philosopher, Ethicist, Author, Coach).  To see a full slate of speakers, visit the Symposium page here.
