Right before the New Year, Indians catcher Yan Gomes has decided to change his representation.  The 27 year old Brazilian has signed with baseball agency Jet Sports Management, according to MLB Trade Rumor’s Tim Dierkes. Gomes joins Brian McCann, Devin Mesoraco, and Mike Zunino as catchers represented by Jet Sports.

Gomes was previously represented by Joe White of Proformance Inc. According to his LinkedIn profile, Joe has left Proformance and is now CEO at Marquee Sports Management & Analytics. Dierkes also noted that Joe will continue to work with Gomes and Jet Sports Management in a consultant role.

In 2014, Gomes batted .278 with 21 HRs and 74 RBI’s. He also added in 66 stolen bases on the season.
