Sports Agency Empire Athletes has signed a Standard Representation Agreement with USC Tight End Randall Telfer, according to their Twitter account. Empire Athletes broke the news of the signing the day after Telfer was invited to the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine.
Telfer is a 6’4 Tight End from Rancho Cucamonga, California. Telfer was on the John Mackey watch list prior to the 2014 season. Telfer recorded 21 receptions this year for 197 yards and 2 TDs. He’s listed as the 18th best available TE on DraftTek.com and the 17th best TE on NFLDraftScout.com.
NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor Cameron Weiss is a Partner in Empire Athletes. Although he has only been certified for one year, Weiss is already making a name for himself and Empire Athletes in the athlete representation industry. Some of you may remember Cameron as being the agent for last year’s SEC Defensive Player of the Year Michael Sam. It will be interesting to see if they add any more names before the draft.
