The 6-foot-11, 255 pound Stone did not have to go very far from the Maryland campus in College Park, MD to his new agency – Tandem is located in Arlington, VA a mere 17 miles away. He will be represented by founder and president Jim Tanner and vice president Derrick Powell. His marketing will be lead by Tandem marketing coordinator, Cary Grossart.

Stone was ranked 23rd on last week’s list of the top 100 draft prospects by draftexpress.com. The 19-year-old is coming off a freshman season in which he averaged 12.5 PPG, 5.4 RPG and 0.4 APG. The Terrapins advanced to the Sweet Sixteen before being eliminated by Kansas.

He was recently invited to the NBA Draft Combine held in Chicago, IL along with his Maryland teammates Melo Trimble, Jake Layman and Robert Carter, Jr.
