Golfer Patrick Reed Signs With CAA Sports

Per Liz Mullen of SBJ, CAA Sports has signed world No. 7-ranked golfer Patrick Reed for his representation on and off the course. With CAA, Reed will be represented by a team of agents led by CAA Sports Global Head of Sports Endorsements Lowell Taub and Global Head of Sales Paul Danforth.

The Texas-native Reed earned his PGA Tour card in 2011, after leading Augusta State to the NCAA Division I Golf Championship in 2010 and 2011. Since his debut, he has played in 125 events, winning five, and earned $15,597,347. He made a name for himself during this year’s Ryder Cup where he and Rory McIlroy competed in a singles match that involved taunting, screams and exhibitions of passion unseen on the golf course.

In terms of endorsements, golfers usually have various brands on their shirts, bags and hats – most of the time sporting multiple logos. His club and apparel sponsor is Callaway Golf, with additional endorsements with TaxSlayer, iHeat and ETS.

Prior to his signing with CAA Sports, he was previously represented by The Legacy Agency.
