Rosenhaus Sports Adds Malik McDowell And Brian Poole

Per tweets by Drew Rosenhaus, Rosenhaus Sports has signed two new clients: Malik McDowell, a defensive lineman out of Michigan State and 2017 NFL Draft hopeful, and Brian Poole, a rookie cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Coming off a disappointing season as a team at Michigan State, McDowell is projected to be a first-round NFL draft pick. The 6-foot-6, 276 pound defensive tackle had until January 16 to declare for the draft, but with Michigan State not playing in a bowl game, McDowell got a jump start on his decision. ESPN’s Mel Kiper ranks him as No. 7 on his most recent big board, while Todd McShay ranks him 10th. CBSSports.com’s Dane Brugler projects him as the fourth overall pick to Jacksonville. McDowell is coming off an injury-ridden junior season which saw his productivity decrease, but was also constantly facing double teams by the opponents offensive lines.

Brian Poole signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent after the 2016 NFL Draft. After a productive college career at the University of Florida, where he played in 49 career games amassing 120 total tackles from the cornerback position and 6 interceptions. Although undrafted, he has played in all of the Falcons games this season (13), with 48 tackles, 1 sack and 2 fumble recoveries.

With these two additions to his client roster, Rosenhaus now represents almost 200 clients, or roughly 10% of NFL players. His success in the industry is widely seen, having been active for 27 years and negotiating over $2 billion in NFL contracts, not to mention marketing and endorsement deals.
