Per a press release from the company, MP & Silva has been awarded the 2016 Best Sports Media Agency of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards, held in Dubai.
The company has had quite the year in 2016, and looks to build on its success in the new year. In May, Baofeng and Everbright Securities made significant investments in MP & Silva, allowing the agency to continue providing a full range of services to a growing roster of clients and partners. In October, Jochen Lösch was named the CEO, after leaving Traffic Sports.
The journey to being named agency of the year was highlighted by founder Riccardo Silva, who spoke at the award ceremony: “We have moved from an upstart start-up, that broke into new markets and created significant value for our early clients, to an established international full-service sports agency, which is capable of servicing a whole range of needs for our valued clients.

Some of the awards at the Globe Soccer Awards include: Best Player of the Year, Best Club of the Year, and Best Coach of the Year among others. Candidates were chosen by the Globe Soccer jury, which includes international footballing coaches, directors and chairmen.
