According to a statement from VaynerSports, “Alvin Kamara has decided to go in another direction for his representation. We believe he has a bright future, and wish him nothing but the best going forward.”

The fourth ranked RB according to WalterFootball.com, Kamara has drawn comparisons to current Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles in that “both are fast slashers who are built well with some power.” He is a projected first to second round pick.

Losing Kamara is a blow to their draft class but, for a new agency, VaynerSports has added some impressive talent as it prepares for its first NFL Draft. When it comes to the next agency to represent him, Kamara has not signed with anyone else yet. As unfortunate as it is to lose a client prior to his professional career even starting, it is not unheard of in an industry as competitive as professional athlete representation.
