On To The Next One: Armonty Bryant

According to a Tweet by the agency, Detroit Lions defensive end Armonty Bryant has made a change in his representation and is now represented by Rosenhaus Sports. The Rosenhaus brothers, Drew and Jason, will be leading his representation. He was formerly represented by ProSource.

The fifth year pro was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 217th overall pick out of East Central College. In his career, he has 68 combined tackles, 11.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery.

He has faced some off the field issues in the past year and a half, being suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the performance-enhancing drug policy. He was released by the Browns in October 2016, before being claimed off waivers a day later by the Lions. Although he served his PED suspension, he was suspended an additional three games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Once finally active, he was placed on injury reserve with a knee injury.

Although his off-the field-issues have riddled his career thus far, he is looking to get back on track to compete on the field. The hiring of the Rosenhaus brothers is a career move that looks to increase his value both on and off the field, while restoring his public image.
