Justise Winslow Teams Up With MET-RX

Per a press release, Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow has agreed to a multi-year partnership with MET-Rx, making the company Winslow’s official sports nutrition partner. By agreeing to this partnership, MET-Rx will help Winslow take his training to the next level as he enters his third NBA season.

The partnership will officially begin when Winslow attends the 2017 USBA Boys National Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. He will participate in a Q&A session with USBA Vice President of Development, Jason Capel, and mingle with the next generation of elite basketball players.

MET-Rx is no stranger to the athletic performance industry as it has been around for over 25 years. Its product line includes athlete-inspired sports nutrition powders, bars and ready to drink beverages intended to help athletes take their training to the next level. He joins other up-and-coming professional athletes Joey Bosa and Leonard Fournette as recent signees with the brand.

As he recovers from a shoulder surgery that limited him to only 18 games during the 2016-17 NBA season, he will be training with Travelle Gaines, a MET-Rx partner and elite strength and conditioning trainer.

On his young career, Winslow is averaging 7.3 points per game, 1.9 assists per game and 5.2 rebounds per game. The 10th overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft out of Duke looks to come back at full health with the help of MET-Rx as he prepares for his third professional season.
