On To The Next One: Dinelson Lamet

Per a Tweet by Jerry Crasnick, San Diego Padres right handed pitcher Dinelson Lamet has switched agencies to Magnus Sports. He was previously represented by Octagon.

The 25-year-old Dominican Republic-native made his MLB debut this past May and finished the season with a 7-8 record in 21 games started. He had an ERA of 4.57 in 114.1 innings pitched with 139 strikeouts over that span.

He originally signed with the Padres as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played for 5 teams in the minors, racking up a 20-20 record from 2014-17. In those 64 games (60 starts) he pitched 298.1 innings, with a 2.99 ERA.

He joins Magnus Sports and President of Magnus Baseball Scott Shapiro. Magnus Sports was founded by entertainer Marc Anthony in 2015 with the speciality of representing Latin American baseball players.
