Here are the final notes on the top sports agencies by number of clients drafted:

  • Creative Artists Agency: 25 clients drafted this year, compared to 23 in 2017. 23 clients went in the first 3 rounds, including a record breaking 11 first-round selections. Agent Jimmy Sexton represents/co-represents 16 of the 25 CAA clients drafted and Agent Todd France led the way with 6 first-round selections.
  • SportStars: 15 clients drafted this year, compared to 16 in 2017. 5 clients selected in the first 3 rounds, including 1 in the first round. Brian Mackler and Jonathan Perzley represent/co-represent 5 of the 15 SportStars’ clients, including first-round pick, Taven Bryan.
  • Lagardère Sports: 12 clients drafted this year, compared to 11 last year. 8 clients selected in the first 3 rounds, including 2 in the first round. Agent Joel Segal, who represents both of the agency’s first round selections, extends his streak of representing multiple first-round picks to 13 consecutive years.
  • Select Sports Group: 12 clients drafted this year, compared to 10 last year. 2 clients selected in the first 3 rounds, including 5th overall pick Bradley Chubb. Agent Erik Burkhardt led the way with 4 clients drafted, including Bradley Chubb.
  • Athletes First: 9 clients drafted this year, compared to 15 last year. 7 clients went in the first 3 rounds, including 3 first-rounders in the top 20. Agent Joe Panos co-represents 3 OL selected in the first 3 rounds.
  • SportsTrust Advisors: 8 clients drafted this year, similar to last year. 5 clients selected in the first 3 rounds, including first-round pick, Calvin Ridley. The agency continues to find success in recruiting Alabama players as 3 of the 8 clients drafted played for the Crimson Tide.
  • First Round Management- 7 clients drafted this year, compared to 6 last year. 6 clients selected in rounds 2-4.
  • BC Sports- 7 clients drafted this year, compared to 4 last year. 2 clients selected in the 2nd round
  • Rosenhaus Sports Representation- 6 clients drafted this year, compared to 7 last year. 4 clients selected in the first 2 rounds.
  • Rep1 Sports- 6 clients drafted this year, compared to 9 last year. 4 clients selected in the 2nd round
  • Young Money APAA- 6 clients drafted this year, compared to 2 last year. 4 clients selected from rounds 2-4.
  • Capital Sports Advisors- 6 clients drafted this year, including the first overall pick, Baker Mayfield. The agency only had 1 client in last year’s draft.
