Lagardère Sports Bolsters Golf Division

According to a company press release, Lagardère Sports has reached multiyear extensions with five agents within its golf representation division: Jeremy Elliott, Ben Harrison, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Koski and Lee Knox.

The group will continue managing the agency’s golf clients. In addition to the extensions for the aforementioned, two new agents have also been brought into the mix: Rocco Novellino and Thomas Riehle.

Novellino is a recent officer and pilot in the U.S. Navy and a former member of the Naval Academy’s golf team. Riehle comes to the agency after serving as the Director of Golf Performance at Saddlebrook Resort and is a former member of the University of South Florida’s golf team. The new duo, as well as the rest of the newly re-signed agents, will report to Lagardère Sports President of Golf Steve Loy.

“We’re thrilled to extend our relationships with this exceptional group of individuals who have expertly guided our golf clients’ careers,” said Loy. “Representing players is a key pillar of our golf business, and it’s great to have this team leading the way as we strive to better serve our clients and expand or presence in the sports.”

While the extension of five agents and hiring of two more continues to bolster Lagardère Sports’ leading golf representation practice, on the other end of the spectrum Senior Vice President of Golf Mac Barnhardt is departing the agency effective May 17 after nearly five years. Barnhardt joined the agency in 2013 when it acquired his firm Crown Sports Management.
