On To The Next One: New Orleans Saints DE Hau’oli Kikaha

Rosenhaus Sports announced that it has signed DE Hau’oli Kikaha of the New Orleans Saints. Ryan Matha, a former colleague to legendary agent Leigh Steinberg and now one of Rosenhaus Sports’ leading men in contracts, acknowledged the signing yesterday. He was previously represented by Marvin Demoff.

Hau’oli Kikaha, who transitioned from linebacker to defensive end while in the Saints organization, had an impressionable rookie season. The following year, however, would bring about a different agenda – one that featured a torn ACL – resulting in Kikaha missing the entire 2016 season. Another year later and Kikaha’s “recovery” would resume, but he would fall victim to another injury following a 23-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons in week 12.

If Kikaha wishes to obtain stable health and remain on an NFL roster, then he needs to log in the man hours outside of this new contract with Rosenhaus Sports. In addition to teammates Alex Okafor and Cameron Jordan, who each had great seasons in 2017, Kikaha may have another obstacle in his way, UTSA DE Marcus Davenport, the 14th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Hau’oli Kikaha was a member of the 2015 NFL Draft class, which would feature other sensational college linebackers, Vic Beasley and Shaq Thompson. During his limited game action, the University of Washington alum would be the team’s eighth-leading tackler behind Cameron Jordan and Dannell Ellerbe.
