‘Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs’ Features A-Rod And Other Celebs
Jeep recently announced its first-ever creative collaboration web-series featuring celebrities – Alex Rodriguez, Maria Menounos – and co-founders of The Infatuation app, Chris Stang and Andrew Steinthal. The contest, dubbed “Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs,” is part of the brand’s newest marketing campaign. The six-part series aired on September 6 and will air each week until wrapping up with the Wrangler Golden Grille Award on September 27.
The series features Rodriguez, Menounos, Stang and Steinthal teaming up with auto customizers to build their dream Jeep Wrangler. The teams are as follows: A-Rod and the legendary West Coast Customs squad in L.A.; TV and SiriusXM personality Menounos chose DCD Customs; and, finally, foodies Stang and Steinthal are using Autocraft NYC to soup up their Wranglers. Each garage comes with its own toolbox of add-ons, vehicle wraps and other equipment to make vehicles pop, so to speak.
The remaining webisodes, hosted by former NBA standout and current on-air personality Jalen Rose, will be broadcast on the show’s official site, on September 11, September 13, September 18, September 20 and September 27.
Jeep will select a winner who will receive the “Wrangler Golden Grille Award, but fans can vote online at Jeep.com for the Fan Favorite Award. Voting will take place between September 27 and October 5.
