Excel Sports Management Adds Three To Its Team

Excel Sports Management has brought on three new members to their team, according to the company. Each new member of the staff brings to the table an impressive resumé coupled with valuable experience that will enable them to immediately make significant contributions to the firm. 

John Nowicki has been hired into the role of Director of Corporate Partnerships. His new position will involve developing brand partnerships on behalf of Excel’s roster of sports and entertainment properties. Nowicki has prior experience as Director of Corporate Partnerships with the Oakland Athletics. Before his work with the A’s, he was Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing for three seasons at NASCAR and an Account Executive at IMG.

Dillon McConvey has joined the Excel team as a Contracts Manager. McConvey has procured comprehensive experience in the legal field after receiving his JD from the George Washington University Law School. Most recently, he worked as an Associate Counsel at EXOS for nearly three years. Preceding that position, he held the role of Legal Fellow at the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Law Clerk for the MLS Players Association, and Player Services Intern for the NFLPA. 

The last of Excel’s new hires is Jonathan Fernandez, who will serve as the Information Technology Manager. Fernandez’s background is in the engineering field. Before joining Excel, he used his engineering knowledge and skills as a Network Engineer at LMS Technical Servies. Previous to LMS, Jon was with FEDEX working as a Field Services Engineer and Lead Production Coordinator.
