Mike Smith Signs With Quartexx Basketball

Quartexx Basketball has signed graduate student Mike Smith from University of Michigan. Smith will be joining his mentor and friend Jimmy Butler as a client of Quartexx Basketball. He will also be joining Isaiah Thomas and Justin Holiday amongst other notable clients.

The 5’11”, 185-pound guard is from Burr Ridge, Illinois where he attended high school at Fenwick. During his college career, he played in 120 games, starting in 119 games. He scored 1,906 career points, scored in double figures in 91 career games, and dished 542 assists in collegiate career. During the 2020-2021 season at Michigan, Smith helped the team to the Big Ten Regular Season Title, advance to the NCAA Elite Eight, and advance to the NCAA Sweet 16. He started all 28 games and was one of two members of the team to do so. Smith transferred from Columbia where he was a two-time All-Ivy League Second Team and All Metropolitan Third Team.
