Distinction Signs 2022 Team USA Winter Olympic Prospects

Distinction Agency, a Miami-based marketing agency that represents athletes, social media influencers and various businesses, announced today they have signed Gus Schumacher, a 2020 USA Junior World Champion in Skiing, and Hunter Church, a USA Bobsled 5-Time North American Cup Champion, to marketing representation agreements. Distinction Agency will assist Schumacher and Church with building their brand beyond their field of play.

Distinction also announced the re-signing of Manteo Mitchell, a Track & Field Olympic Silver Medalist who has now joined Team USA Bobsled with hopes of competing at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. On the track, Mitchell won gold in the Men’s 4×400 meters relay at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships and won silver at the 2012 London Olympics.

Since starting in 2018, Distinction has steadily increased its client base, being named as one of the “30 Fastest Growing Private Companies to Watch” for 2020. Marketing Olympic athletes is nothing new for the firm, having worked with stars such as gold medalists USATF Kaylin Whitney and USA Volleyball Kelsey Robinson.

“Today is a great day for Distinction,” said Distinction Agency CEO, Alex Onaindia in a press release. “Coming off a strong Tokyo Olympics with three of our clients competing and two winning Gold Medals, we aim to build on that momentum with the 2022 Winter Olympics quickly approaching. Gus and Hunter are rising stars in their respective sports who we are eager to support with all of their marketing efforts. We previously worked with Manteo and built a fantastic relationship with him as we helped facilitate partnerships for him with industry leaders like Celsius and MGM Resorts. We’re excited to welcome him back and get to work with all three men leading up to next year’s Olympics.”
