Icon Legacy Group has signed senior Chris Duarte from the University of Oregon, where he will be represented by Icon Legacy Group CEO, Charles Briscoe. Chris will be represented by Icon Legacy Group for his NBA contract needs and all off-court endeavors.
The 6’6”, 190-pound guard is from Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and attended high school at Redemption Christian. During the 2020-2021 season, Chris was awarded the following awards: Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year, International Player of the Year (NetScouts Basketball), Associated Press Pac-12 Player of the Year, All-Pac 12 First Team, Pac-12 All-Defensive Team, Second Team All-America (Sports Illustrated), Third Team-All America (Associated Press,USBWA, The Athletic, College Hoops Today / Jon Rothstein, and Basketball Times), Lute Olson All-America Team, NABC All-District 19 First Team, and USBWA All-District IX First Team. He averaged 17.1 points per game and led his team while shooting 53.2 percent overall from the field and 42.4 percent from three-point range. Chris is Oregon’s first Jerry West Award Finalist in program history.
Chris will be preparing for the NBA Draft in the upcoming months with Justin Zormelo in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
