“Chris is a high character, quality person, and a great back with the skill set to play in the NFL, and we’re very happy to work with him,” said Paul Sheehy, President/General Counsel of ProStar. “What impressed me the most when talking with him is his incredible love of the game and relentless desire to play in the NFL. You can coach a lot of things, but you can’t coach heart.”
Nwoke finished his career in Fort Collins, Colo. with 2,400-plus yards that included six 100-plus yard games and two 200-plus yard games. In 2013, he played in all 13 games, with his season-best game coming against Cal Poly on September 14 where he tallied 19 carries for 133 yards.
“Chris is a big, fast, strong back who finished his career at CSU as the 10th leading rusher of all time,” Sheehy added. According to Sheehy, Nwoke plans to complete his Master’s degree this semester and will continue to train with the CSU strength and conditioning staff.
