French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has switched agencies and signed a representation agreement with IMG Worldwide. He was previously managed by L&S Management.

The 28 year-old rose to fame in 2008, where he defeated four seeded players to advance to the final of the Australian Open. He lost to Novak Djokovic. Since then, he has won 10 ATP Tour titles and has a current ranking of 15 in the world. He joins a list of high profile tennis talent at IMG including Li Na and Maria Sharapova.

Attractive to sponsors, Tsonga currently has endorsement deals with Adidas, Babolat, Kinder, Rolex and Hyatt. It is unknown when these deals will expire.

Fernando Soler, Managing Director of IMG Tennis had this to say of the signing: “We are thrilled that Jo-Wilfried chose IMG to represent him. He is a terrific player and a great person, and we look forward to strengthening and growing his global brand on and off the tennis court.”

He will be represented at IMG by Carlos Fleming, who currently holds the role of VP of Talent Management. His client list includes Venus Williams, golfer Michelle Wie and NFL star Colin Kaepernick. Sports Agent Blog did an interview with Carlos last year, which can be found here.
