At a time when he is still a free agent, MLB third baseman, Alberto Callaspo, has decided to change representation.  Callaspo — who played for the Oakland Athletics this past season — has joined Praver Shapiro Sports Management, where he will be represented by Barry Praver and Scott Shapiro.  He used to be with Goldschmidt & Associates, according to SportsBusiness Journal.

Praver Shapiro also represents Chicago White Sox Jose Abreu, Los Angeles Dodgers Juan Uribe, the Miami Marlins Henderson Alvarez and the Minnesota Twins Oswaldo Arcia.

The 31-year-old Callaspo had 4 HR, 39 RBI and batted .223 during the 2014 season.  He has played for the Kansas City Royals, Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim over his nine-year career.
