On the last day of 2014, University of Louisville DE Lorenzo “Lozo” Mauldin selected Athletes First for his representation.

Camron Hahn of Athletes First made the announcement via his Twitter account. Hahn has recruited upwards of 25 athletes, including seven 1st round picks. Athletes First is a full-service agency that helps athletes in every aspect of their career “from record-breaking contracts to strategic brand building, from elite, personalized pre-draft training to specialized work with athlete foundations.”

Mauldin, a Senior Bowl participant, is a 6’4” DE/OLB from Atlanta, Georgia. He made the switch from DE to OLB this season after new defensive coordinator Todd Grantham changed the defensive scheme from a 4-3 to a 3-4 base set. He totaled 51 tackles this season, with a team-leading 13 tackles for a loss, in addition to 6.5 sacks. He is listed as the 11th best OLB in a 3-4 set according to DraftTek.com and 4th best OLB according to NFLDraftScout.com.
