On To The Next One: Greivis Vasquez

Milwaukee Bucks Guard Greivis Vasquez has signed with Octagon agent Alex Saratsis for representation. In doing so, Greivis has parted ways with Wasserman Media Group, and his agent Darren Matsubara.

The 29 year old veteran out of Maryland, is in the final year of his 2 year / $13,000,000 contract, as he is set to be an unrestricted free agent following this season. The Venezuelan has not played since November 27th thanks to a bone spur in his foot. The initial diagnosis was a 3-4 month recovery time but recent reports have indicated a late-January return is possible.

Vasquez may also be a valuable trade chip before the NBA trade deadline if he comes back healthy before then. The Bucks have a deep point guard rotation and may look to deal his expiring contract to recover some of the draft picks they gave up in exchange for him.

The five year veteran has career averages of 9.1 PPG, 4.9 APG, 2.6 RPG, and a 42% FGP. He will look to earn another solid contract, contributing as a quality starter or high end back-up guard as he heads into the second half of his playing career.
