UConn Phenom Breanna Stewart Signs With Wasserman

Per a tweet from Sports Business Journal’s Liz Mullen, Unviersity of Connecticut basketball player Breanna Stewart has signed a representation agreement with Wasserman. She will be managed by Lindsay Kagawa Colas.

Breanna Stewart was a dominant player all the way through her 4 years at Connecticut. Amongst her many accolades, she is the only player to win the Final Four MVP on four occasions.

In her senior season, Breanna averaged 19.4 points and 8.7 rebounds a game. Dubbed ‘the LeBron James of women’s basketball’, Breanna is expected to go no.1 in the upcoming WNBA draft. This would land her at the Seattle Storm.

Wasserman recently underwent a re-brand and dropped the ‘Media Group’ that followed their name. They work acorss a variety of areas that include talent, brands and properties.

Lindsay is based out of Los Angeles and currently holds the title of VP of Action Sports and Olympics. She has a long list of WNBA clients including Maya Moore and Brittney Griner. An interview with her that was conducted in 2014 by Sports Agent Blog can be found here.
