On To The Next One: EJ Manuel

Per SBJ, Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel has signed with CAA Sports for his representation on and off the field.

The former 16th overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Florida State was previously represented by Eugene Parker, who passed away earlier this year. He was the only quarterback taken in the first round of the draft.

His three seasons in Buffalo have not gone quite how he would have hoped, coming out of FSU as a highly-touted quarterback. He has played in 26 games, completing 310/526 passes for a 58.9 completion percentage, amassing 3,416 yards and 19 TDs. However, he has also thrown 15 interceptions and has found himself either second or third on the depth chart, with other quarterbacks Tyrod Tayler and Cardale Jones also on the roster.

The Bills declined to exercise his fifth-year option for the 2017 season, which will lead to Manuel becoming an unrestricted free agent.

CAA Football co-head Todd France will lead Manuel’s representation team.
