Former Florida WR Antonio Callaway Signs With MB5 Sports Group

According to a Tweet from Neil Stratton, former University of Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway has signed with Mel Bratton of MB5 Sports Group and will enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

In his two years contributing on the field, the 5’11” Miami-native hauled in 89 receptions for 1,399 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Calloway was expected to be a major playmaker for the Gators this season, however he ended up being suspended for its entirety as he was among nine Gator football players facing 62 felony complaints in September. In October, it was announced that he agreed to a prep-trial intervention that could lead to the dismissal of the felony charges.

Without a third season of college action, Callaway faces an uphill battle when it comes to a career in the NFL. Bratton is a former college football player himself, having been a running back at the University of Miami in the 80s. According to his NFLPA profile, he has negotiated four contracts and was formerly at Paramount Sports and Entertainment. He also worked for DeBartolo Sports and Entertainment.
