Roc Nation Sports Signs Defensive End Joe Jackson

Joe Jackson, junior defensive end out of the University of Miami has decided to forgo his senior season with the Hurricanes and enter the 2019 NFL draft.  Jackson has consistently made his presence known on the defensive front earning him All-ACC Honorable Mention as a junior and serving as one of Miami’s top defensive play makers throughout his career.

Jackson will end his career as a Hurricane with a total of 138 tackles (71 solo, 67 ast), 37.5 loss, 24 sacks, 1 int, 5 forced fumbles, and 2 touchdowns.  In 2018 alone, he earned an impressive 9.0 sacks, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 47 total tackles which was the third most tackles on the team.   

Although listed as a defensive lineman, Mel Kiper’s board has Jackson as the No.6 prospect for outside linebackers which means his impressive edge rushing speed and athleticism has NFL scouts recognizing his big play ability.  Jackson will be represented by Roc Nation Sports NFL agent John Thornton.
