Help Disadvantaged Single Mothers At Jarvis Green’s Wine Tasting

If you go to Jarvis Green’s website, you will find three words that describe the two-time Super Bowl champion and current Houston Texan: “Philanthropist, Athlete, Entrepreneur.”  While Green has certainly had his fair share of success on the gridiron, it may not be a coincidence that the first word is “Philanthropist.”  I constantly receive emails from his public relations manager regarding Green’s events.

Green’s upcoming event is a Wine Tasting Gala in Baton Rogue, Louisiana.  It will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 7-11 p.m. at the Cook Hotel/Lod Cook Alumni Center, and will feature a live band (the Rat Pack Band featuring Liza Minnelli), gourmet dining, fine wines, a raffle, and a silent auction.  Other entertainment includes comedian D’lai and performances by X-tremetalent caricature, Elvis Statue and Jester Juggler.  The event will benefit disadvantaged, victimized single mothers in Baton Rogue and neighboring areas.

Expected attendees include: Corey Webster, Bradie James, Kyle Williams, Randall Gay, Alan Faneca, Kevin Faulk, Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, former All-Pro RB Jamal Anderson, Brandon Harris, Kalenna of Diddy Dirty Money, R&B  songstress Stefani Vera and Jason Hewitt, Film Producer.

Cost: $75 per person (click here to buy tickets)
