This Shabbat Shalom: Friday Wrap-Up is coming to you live from Las Vegas, Nevada. I will not lie, it was scheduled well in advance, so I apologize if you find any of the links to be just a tad stale. The Florida Gators will be honored at Sun Life Stadium during a Miami Dolphins game against the Denver Broncos. I find it to be a nice gesture, but I am slightly biased as I attended the University of Florida for undergrad and law school. And I am already used to Hurricanes fans complaining about just about anything, so that is nothing new. But enough about that silly nonsense; COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK. Here are some stories I missed over the past week.
Basketball

- Since 2010, eight teams have changed majority ownership hands [Meet Your New NBA Owners!].
- Conduct stipulations are “normal” [Vick’s contract contains no extra conduct language].
- Mike Vick won’t be collecting anywhere close to the full value of his new contract [New Contract Means Vick’s Creditors Can Get All Their Money Back By 2014].
- Jason Rosenhaus (Drew’s brother) gets his name dropped in this article [Agent: Gore agrees to 3-year extension].
- Marc Isenberg presents his blueprint for meaningful NCAA reform [NCAA must accept reality if it is serious about reform].
- At least Mississippi’s Secretary of State is excited [Hosemann touts changes to sports agent law].
