Kevin Van Voris may graduate from a no-name Division-II school, but the West Texas A&M University punter/kickoff specialist will undoubtedly garner some attention as the 2014 NFL Draft approaches. The Elizabeth, Colorado native recently signed with Cover3 Representation.
“The most important reason we signed Kevin was for his hard effort into his craft and body, which separate him from other players at his position,” said Ryan Earls, CEO of Cover3 and an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor.
This past season, Van Voris punted for an average of 45.2 yards and was No. 3 in punting distance in Division-II. In his four-year career, he recorded 37 punts of 50-plus yards and boomed punts of 74 and 72 yards. Moreover, he led the entire NCAA in kickoff touchbacks three years in a row. According to Earls, Van Voris will be participating in the NFL Regional Combine for specialists in front of NFL scouts before his Pro Day.
