Ravens DT, Timmy Jernigan, has signed with Drew Rosenhaus and Mike Katz of Rosenhaus Sports for his representation, according to a Tweet by Rand Getlin of Yahoo! Sports. This comes after Jernigan parted ways with former agent Sunny Shah of 320 Sports.
The 6’2″ 300 lb defensive tackle is entering his second year with the Ravens. A member of the 2014 BCS National Champion Florida State Seminoles, Jernigan was drafted in the second round, 48th overall, by the Ravens in the 2014 NFL Draft. He played in 12 games, with 3 starts amassing 23 total tackles and 4 starts in his rookie season.
He signed a four-year, $4.382 million contract in May 2014. The deal contains $2.126 million guaranteed, including a $1.507 million signing bonus. He is set to become a free agent in 2018 but with the departure of Haloti Ngata, this could be Jernigan’s breakout season.
