Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has agreed to join Roc Nation Sports, helping continue to build the international football pipeline to the agency.
Now just the second English Premier League player to be represented by Jay-Z’s entertainment company, he follows fellow Manchester teammate and Roc Nation client Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku excitingly welcomed Bailly to Roc Nation on Instagram and stated, “A big welcome to the newest member of the @rocnationsports family. My brother and teammate @ericbailly24 #RocBoys.” As Roc Nation’s first EPL client, Lukaku also signed with Puma last June, making the partnership the brand’s biggest endorsement deal ever.
Bailly signed a four-year contract with Manchester United in 2016, leaving Villareal for a reported transfer fee of $43.7 million. As a proud Ivory Coast-native, Bailly has also played with their national team since 2015 and plans to help bring the country to World Cup success again after missing out on the tournament in 2018.
