Ken Kremer was a football agent for roughly 25 years. Prior to retiring from the business of representing athletes, Kremer was an employee at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he represented quarterbacks Tony Romo and Josh Freeman. When Kremer retired, Romo decided to go “on to the next one” and sign with agent R.J. Gonser. According to ProFootballTalk.com, Freeman has also made a change, and is now represented by Jeff Nalley and Erik Burkhardt of Select Sports Group.
Nalley and Burkhardt will represent Freeman in conjunction with Freeman’s father, who is also certified as an NFLPA Contract Advisor and was involved with Freeman’s last Tampa Bay Buccaneers contract. Freeman will be playing on the last year of his rookie contract, and it is yet to be determined if he will remain as the franchise’s quarterback beyond 2013. Nalley and Burkhardt will assist Ron Freeman in talks concerning the quarterback’s future.
