NFLPA Issues Alert About Man Posing As Certified Contract Advisor

On Friday, Jack Lyons of the NFL Players Association sent an email to all certified NFLPA Contract Advisors to inform them about an individual posing as being certified and contacting professional players.  Recipients of the email were encouraged to advise their clients that they should immediately notify the NFLPA should they be contacted by this non-certified individual named Amadou Tall.

The NFLPA alert states that Tall claimed to be operating a business called Invictus Executive Management Services LLC and had been advertising his services as a contract advisor and financial planner to NFL players.  The letter, which is a full page in length (and embedded below), basically informs Contract Advisors that Tall is not certified to provide such services.  The point is really hammered home.

Heitner serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he teaches a Sports Law class that includes case law surrounding athlete agents and the NCAA rules.
