Special 2 week edition of Nightmare Clients after not having access to a computer last Sunday. Here we go…
1) Marcus Vick of the Miami Dolphins may have had sexual relations with a 15-year old girl while he was playing for Virginia Tech and he is being accused of sexual battery on a minor, fraud, etc [Girl, 17, suing Marcus Vick for $6.3 million].
2) Quincy Carter, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested for possessing under 2 ounces of marijuana (must have been only 1.9..) and apparently was throwing a bunch of shit around [Former Cowboys QB Carter arrested on drug charges].
3) Tank Johnson of the Chicago Bears likes his firearms and does not feel that he needs proper identification for any of them [Bears’ Johnson cited for gun ownership].
4) Joey Porter of the Pittsburgh Steelers not only thinks that Kellen Winslow is soft, but that he is also gay. The NFL does not refute the statements, but asks for its $10,000 fee [NFL fines Porter $10K for comments to Winslow].
5) Reggie McNeal of the Cincinnati Bengals was arrested after he dropped a bow (elbowed) on a cop when the officer refused McNeal entrance into a nightclub [McNeal elbows officer, charged with resisting arrest]. The Bengals have only had 7 players arrested so far this year…
6) Until Deltha O’Neal of the Cincinnati Bengals decided that he does not like odd numbers and became the 8th player to be arrested on the team. Just another DUI to tack on to the list of offenses [O’Neal pleads not guilty; Lewis embarrassed].
It looks like a lot of nightmares, but remember that this is over a 2 week period. However, there are no excuses for the behavior of these athletes. Most importantly, the Bengals have a serious problem. Roger Goodell to the rescue!
