No. 1 ranked tennis player Novak has signed with IMG for representation. He was previously with CAA Sports.

Novak made his intention to leave CAA known back in August citing simply that he needed to move on. While most insiders believed he would eventually end up at IMG, he took his time to make a decision. IMG’s tennis division took a hit earlier this year with Roger Federer and his agent Tony Godsick departing to launch their own business. However, IMG is still one of the leading tennis agencies, having Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova on their roster.

Novak signed a new clothing deal with emerging Japanese brand Uniqlo this year, with that contract running for five years. His racquet deal with Head also has three years until its expiration. As these were negotiated during his time at CAA Sports, that company will continue to receive the commissions from these contracts.

Back in August, Djokovic had this to say on the matter of his current endorsements:

“I am ending most of my contracts that I had from previous years and now I am actually negotiating with many companies for the future.”

Novak also has deals with Mercedes Benz, Telekom Srbija, Bombardier and watchmaker Audemars Piguet. It is unknown when these contracts are up for renewal or who his agent will be at IMG.
